Established in 1956, the institute is a specialized research
organization of the Ministry of Construction undertaking the researches
on elevator, construction machineries and the construction
technology.Combined with Building Institute of Construction Machinery of
Minstry of Construction in 2002, Beijing Academy of Building
Mechanizaiton has been formed by two Institutes integrally. Which belong
to China Academy of Building Research. The addresses of Academy are in
two places: Beijing and Langfang, Heibei Province.
Research and Development Area: Elevators (Including Escalator and
Passenger Conveyor), Steel bar processingMachineries, Concretes Forming
machineries, Building Finishing Machineries, Aerial Working Machineries,
Construction Lifting Machineries, Cranes, Foundation Construction
Machineries, Urban Construction Machineries, Mechanical Paking
Equipment, Building Scaffold Coupler, Building Moulds, Construction
Machineries Testing Technology and Construction Technology.
It is the technical responsible unit for the elevator products and other
construction machineries. It assists government with editing national
Standards and code of elevator and construction machineries; inspection
and evaluator of manufacturing license certification it undertakes
resrarch work for elevator, escalator and Passenger conveyor; organ
techniques and information wxchange. It’s responsible for ISO/TC178,
ISO/TC124, ISO/TC195 intermational standards, on be half of china to
take part in the annual meeting.
